I am more then 22 years in the photo business and have a lot off experiences to work with models, particularly with international models. During all these years I had very good experiences but it doesn’t always go like expected. Sometimes models pretend be a pro but come on a shoot with a small bag and nothing what I was asking for. That’s the reason why I write these guideline. So please read these carefully if you want work together with me. If there are any issues about these lets me know in advance.
I am absolutely not the guy with rules but prefer to have the things clear so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable for both parties. Even I suppose that most mentioned subjects are evident ass you are a professional model.
- So first off all be on and on time on our appointment, we spend time to schedule it and by a non show up it’s just a lost off time and probably money for both parties. Off course if one off us is sick or break something is a good reason not be able to shoot. Ask for my conditions in that case.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the studio, drinking a lot off alcohol and use off any drugs is not allowed.
- Nails has to be nicely done, toenails also or just blank but not something like screaming colours or all different ones or that it looks like done from a week ago. Just natural light pink or red is fine.
Tip: If you have fake nails maybe don’t forget to have some glue with you in case you brake a nail.
- If we agreed you do your own make-up, bring with you enough so we can change different times during the shoot. I hope you have more then 2 lipsticks and 2 brushes.
- I would love you bring some jewellery that’s make a final touch on the photo’s. You don’t need to bring real gold or diamonds, fantasies jewellery is more than fine. If you don’t want use someone else earrings or need earnings with clips then for sure bring your own.
- My preference go to one colour lingerie, no huge prints or a rainbow off flowers/colours.
Black/white/transparent lingerie have my preferences. Long or short (transparent) dresses, large hat, sunglasses, leather, latex are welcome.
- I work often in fetish/latex/bdsm styles, if you have something in that style would be nice to bring it. Fetish boots, high heels would also be great. I have already a nice collection outfits and boots but can’t foreseen all different sizes.
- In case we shoot art nude style pls foreseen that pubic hair is nice trimmed or shaved ass you wish but I don’t like natural bushes growing everywhere.
- Any ideas you want work out let me now ? if you have special clothes and accessories that can make that special look bring it pls.
- Being busy on a smartphone and promote yourself and my studio is fine but don’t do it during the shooting hours. When we shoot 4-6hours its normal to have a longer brake in between but not every half-hour. Breaks are not shooting hours.
- If you work as a professional model it would be great to receive a invoice. I also suppose you have an insurance in case something happens, if you break something during the shoot and you don’t have an insurance it’s up to you to pay the damage.
- If you want work with a model agent that is not a problem but let be clear from the beginning about it not that I have to find out halfway the conversation or on the day off the shoot is was talking to someone else.
- Great if you publish my photos but please tag me, using images on your Onlyfans or similar platforms and make a second time money from is not allowed without my permission.
If you have injuries that’s can get influence on your posing skills or injuries that leave serious marks or get a lot off extra weight so you don’t look on your portfoilio images anymore and these results that I will need to do a lot off editing work, then be aware that if you didn’t let me now these in advance and I agree with it, I take the right to refuse working together and can send you back even without paying you even if you already travel and arrived on the shoot location!!
Same for models that don’t respect my requests as noticed here before and arrived with non or very less make up, clothes, lingerie jewellery and think that’s normal and expected I will provided these!!
And one last thing !! Do you receive images after the shoot?
Well depending if its a tfcd shoot yes as you invest your time for free so its normal I make a selection off the best images and give a number off digital files
. If it’s a paid shoot the chance you get images are much smaller or even possible you get nothing temporary.
Photography is my full time job and paid jobs from clients has always priority, that’s where I get the money from and can pay you to do these modelshoots.
So it will take time before I make selections, photoshop images etc. but most important is that there is a big chance that a part off these images can be used for publishing in fine art books and on exhibitions. So long the images are not used and published in my work I don’t want them circulating on the internet as I want keep the exclusivity off the moment off publish these images. Giving images is a favour not a obligation !
